Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need to bring my own firewood?

If the season’s fire regulations allow campfires, and you would like to have a fire at your site, yes. We will provide wood for group fires.

Will there be merchandise for sale at the campout?

Yes! Hoodies are only available during pre-registration, however, t-shirts, tanks, caps, coffee mugs, and stickers will all be available on-site.

Can I pay via credit card on-site?

Technically, yes. Internet service is spotty in the woods, so cash or check is suggested if you want to pay for anything during the campout. However, we can take credit card information on-site and process it when we have wifi available.

What should I pack?

If you plan to use the showers, plan on soaps, towels, and perhaps some shower shoes. The nights tend to be quite cool with hot summer days, so bring layers and options for various weather. If you’re staying in a cabin, we recommend a twin or cot sized mattress topper, and you’ll need bedding including sheets/pillows/whatever kind of bedding you choose to sleep in. A camp chair is helpful, especially if we have meetings around the fire. Many women utilize bug spray or other repellents, and don’t forget sun protection!

Will all of this stuff be tie-dye every year?

Nope! We choose a color scheme each year, so next year will be different.

How do I get involved with planning the campout?

We are always looking for more people to join our roster of volunteer committee members! Please email us at all12stepperswomenscampout@gmail.com if you would like to be a part of this amazing event! We meet for planning on Zoom, so you don’t even have to be local to Southern Oregon to be of service!

I don’t want to be on the committee, but I want to help. How do I do that?

Simply check the box during the online registration process to sign up to be of service, and we will add you to the list of volunteers. When you check in at camp, we can discuss where you can be of maximum service!

Why have campout prices increased?

The cost of reserving the site, as well as the cost of food and just about everything else needed to put this event on, have all increased over the last couple of years. We strive to keep this event as affordable as possible and maintain a delicate balance between our costs and yours.

How do I recommend a speaker or an additional 12-step program I would like to see at this campout?

You can either email us at all12stepperswomenscampout@gmail.com with suggestions, or even better, join the committee!
